The Dubai-headquartered developer is assumed to have inked a conformity with Dubai World Central (DWC) in December 2013, to build up an incorporated urban centre and golf destination within the world’s first purpose-built aerotropolis.

The assumed construction development will fill an area of 1,360 ha, with the first phase of the project to consist of a golf-course villa community, leisure enticements, numerous hotels, a high-end shopping mall, and a business centre that endorses youth enterprise.

Information stated that DWC Golf District had not started since the signing, but Emaar is seeking to start its work on the project by 2017.

DWC is the world’s largest greenfield airport city. At its centre lies Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC), which once fulfilled, will enclose the capability to manage 160-million passengers and 12-million tonnes of cargo yearly.
