Dubai developer Nakheel floats tenders and invited contractors to bid for a new development at Palm Jumeirah, Dubai.
The contractors are encouraged to submit bids by January 11 for the construction of the West Beach Club which includes the building of retail outlets, a clubhouse, gymnasium, beachside pools, recreation deck, landscaping, parking area development and site infrastructure works.
The said project is one of several new retail residential, tourism and entertainment projects commenced by the developer at Palm Jumeirah. It is said that the developer has already inked design and engineering contracts with a Singaporean Architectural and Engineering company for the West Beach Club plan.
Recently, contractors were also invited to submit bids to build Palm Gateway, and the Night Souq and Boardwalk on the Deira Islands.
The Palm Gateway contract which involves the construction of three high-rise towers costing $817 million is scheduled to close on January 11 while the Night Souq and Boardwork on the Deira Islands which involves a waterfront boardwalk and a night market will close on January 21.
