According to an official of National Port Agency (ANP), the scope of work entails the widening the center of the port for 2 hectares, the construction of a fish discharging quay, building a lift for boats, construction of breakwater of Sekkala, dredging and rock quarrying of the harbor basin and the installation of suspended jetties.
The extension works will run for over 24 months.
