The works will start on Al Seef Road along Dubai Creek in Bur Dubai by mid-2017. The project site measures roughly 2.3 million square feet. The development on the 1.8 kilometer stretch along the Creek will become a new attraction in the city, which will catch the interest of visitors in discovering the various sides of Emirati life and culture.

Moreover, Marsa Al Seef project will also cater to several abra stations and provide dhow and private yacht quay along its edge. The Corniche along Al Seef Street will be opened after 18 months. The completion of the first phase of the project is projected in third quarter of 2016.

The completed Marsa Al Seef project will include a 200-room heritage hotel, a 150-room modern upscale hotel, and a luxury hotel in consideration to the visitors who would want to stay longer in the cultural area to enjoy their time and experience.

Even though the Creek is under development, it will not discourage the authorities in submitting their proposal for recommending the Creek as a UNESCO World Heritage Site at the end of January 2016.
