Abu Dhabi could be a primary tourism destination from Morocco as stated by a group of travel industry representatives on a recent tour to the emirate.
The leading Moroccan operators mentioned that the emirate can boost outbound travel from the country for its first rate infrastructure, superior accommodation, and wide-ranging collection of attractions for the family and remarkable air access.
The Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority and Etihad Airways receive the guests and navigate them around the emirate for four days. The top tourist spots they have visited include the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and Yas Island where the world’s largest indoor theme park, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi; the esteemed Yas Waterworld; the iconic Yas Viceroy; and the Yas Mall, the emirate’s latest and largest shopping destination in the UAE are to be found.
Morocco placed fourth in the overseas market which posted a remarkable annual growth of 40% on hotel guest arrivals. This information encouraged the TCA Abu Dhabi to do an inbound accommodation tour for the Moroccan travel trade who will facilitate the more business opportunities from the country.
Other famous places that the delegation explored were the Emirates Palace, Jumeirah at Etihad Towers and The Marriot Hotel and also the World Trade Center development. The group also explored the beauty of Saadiyat Island. The last place that the group has visited was with a trip to Al Ain which is the heritage cradle of the emirate.
