The nation’s first factory for creating satellites is estimated to be finished in Dubai in few months time.
The next UAE satellite, Khalifa-Sat, will be created at the centre by Emiratis, the Emirates Institution for Advanced Science and Technology (EIAST).
This will comprise electrical, mechanical laboratories and a clean room. They will be furnished and equipped with cooling and ventilation procedures and be entirely shielded from dust and dampness.
It is the first phase of a larger satellite-making improvement, which is anticipated to be completed within the next two years. The construction works of amenities bestowed to manufacture satellites at EIAST are on timetable. For that reason, they will move as soon as possible from South Korea to Dubai to finish the development of KhalifaSat.
As soon as finished and equipped, the last phase of KhalifaSat which will take 18 months will be done at the main facility by Emiratis.
It is planned according to the highest international standards and specifications, EIAST. In a very short time, they have done a lot of accomplishments, such as the thriving inauguration of DubaiSat-1 and DubaiSat-2 into space.
At the moment, they are constructing facilities for the manufacture of satellites in the nation, which is an actual trial for them and a big challenge for their aptitude to enhance high-level infrastructure for space sciences, to boost local human resources and augment their technical innovation.
