In line with the directives of UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and GeneralShaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, 897 houses has been approved to be constructed and be given to UAE nationals across the country.
The objective of this initiative or strategy is to provide or secure a decent life, raise the standard of living and achieve family stability for Emiratis.
A presidential committee was tasked execute the project which involves building 426 houses, and distributing 92 homes which have been constructed for chosen beneficiaries living in Um Al Qaiwain, Sharjah, and Ras Al Khaimah. Furthermore, the committee also initially permitted the provision of 87 replacement houses, and distributed 292 homes for people with disabilities, widows and other groups in society in urgent need of housing.
According to the Deputy Minister for Presidential Affairs and committee chairman the housing projects and programs are being monitored by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, deputy prime minister and minister of presidential affairs, to guarantee that the units, services and facilities reach and meet the needs of citizens.
