Two distinguished undertakings are soon to be built in Dubai on the next following months; the 123-meter high mega flagpole of UAE flag in Jumeirah Open Beach and the Union Museum at the Union House.
Approved by the Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the mega-flagpole is set to be a distinctive landmark in Dubai.
Another project endorsed is the Union Museum of which Road Traffic Authority announced the ratification of its design and main components.
Museum’s design is stirred by portraits of Their Highnesses the Sheikhs signing the constitution of the UAE on 2 December 1971. Key elements of structures entailment are the writing pen and document containing the provisions of the constitution.
As explained on media reports by the chairman of the board and RTA’s executive director, the Union House will have 8 sections; Section 1 comprises an educational museum, and Section 2 spotlights the story of the neighborhood during the pre-union era along with the life patterns of populace in various environments.
Details of each section are as follows:
Section 3: Highlighting the road map leading to the formation of the union together with the key local, regional and international events in that period.
Section 4: The blueprints of the union epitomized in the studious efforts of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum.
Section 5: Information on why the Union, citing key factors prompting the founders to form the federation.
Section 6: Details of establishing the federation state
