Tourism Conference in Rabat will discuss “Vision 2020”

To evaluate the performance of the tourism sector in Morocco and understand the challenges ahead, two areas will be the focus of the Tourism Conference scheduled Monday, September 29th in Rabat. Jointly organized by the Ministry of Tourism and the National Tourism Confederation (CNT), the eleventh edition of the National Tourism will bring together public and private national and international tour operators in a framework for exchange and dialogue.

The work of these Conferences will be divided into two panels, one dealing with approaches to the development of tourist areas and one of the issues of funding and investment in the tourism sector in Morocco.

On the importance of the topics discussed there is the quality of the guests and participants. Alongside the Spanish Minister of Industry, Energy and Tourism Jose Manuel Soria, a range of high-level personalities will be present, including the head of government Abdelilah Bekirane, Tourism Minister Lahcen Haddad, Minister of Inside, Mohamed Hassad, or the Minister of Equipment and Transport Aziz Rabbah.

The main actors of the tourism will also be waiting for you, like the president of the NTC, Ali Ghannam, the Director of the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) Abderrafie Zouitene, or Tarik Senhaji, Director General of the Moroccan Fund for Tourism Development. The national strategy for tourism development “Vision 2020” will be at the heart of discussions at these Conferences.

Participants and discuss how to realize the ambitions listed in the strategy, including that of hoisting Morocco among the world’s top 20 tourist destinations in making the most of the tourist attractions of this the Kingdom.
