The National Initiative for Human Development (NIHD) has created more than 6,525 income generating activities, with a total investment of 1.94 billion dirham. The share of National Human Rights Is in the activities benefits the poor and socially disadvantaged reached 1.22 billion dirham.
NHRIs have managed to create several income generating activities in the sector including agriculture with 3,694 projects; the trade, small industry and local services with 1,171 projects and crafts with 912 projects.
During the first phase in year 2005-2010, the National Initiative for Human Development has come to realize over 22,000 projects and development activities, of which 3,700 of it were allocated to benefit more than 5.2 million beneficiaries. It also established more than 3,700 projects by associations and cooperatives generating more than 40,000 jobs and revitalized the associations evidenced by the creation of more than 3,800 relations.
According to the annual report released by NHRI, the results in terms of initiatives are tangible in the second phase of the NHRI 2011-2015 who made the promotion of micro-generators of employment and income stability a priority.
The second initiative encourages a meaningful way of creating income-generating activities and provides a valuable perspective to infuse new life by integrating fifth territorial level update (PMAT). This fifth program required a budget of 5 billion dirham.
