In order to boost the tourism in the emirate, the Abu Dhabi Tourism Development & Investment floated two pre-qualification tenders for marina services and facilities management services at two of its areas.

Tenders floated for Al Bateen Wharf Project

The first tender is intended for the improvement of marina operations for Al Bateen Wharf and the Eastern Mangroves while the second tender involves facilities management services for Al Bateen Wharf.

The previous tender consists of a 60 on hand new berths for bigger vessels in the east region and 234 berths in the west side.  A dry stack facility which can accommodate 100 small vessels is also included in the services. The subsequent tender deals with the current 44 berth marina.

The range of work entails the electrical plant, mechanical plant, equipment and systems including boats, buildings and building construction rudiments, waste disposal and management, peripheral infrastructure, landscaping, maintenance of all public areas and car parks.

Interested companies can submit their response for pre-qualification until September 21, 2015 by the use of TDIC online sourcing platform.
