Dubai based real estate developer has floated a tender for the design and build of three substations in its project at Deira Islands in Dubai.
The tender is about the complete design, the supply and erection of equipment, construction of buildings, as well as the testing and commissioning of the 132/11kV substation approved by DEWA.
At about 1.9 kilometers, The Deira Islands is divided into four villages and features a large waterfront promenade and a Night Souk area. It will be developed with a prefabricated system, permitting light and easy construction, development flexibility and improved future tenant fit-out.
The Souk is said to be the main attraction of the island, featuring outlets for food and beverages at the front while different retailers occupy the back portion. Deira Island’s Night Market and Boardwalk is expected to become a one of a kind retail destination for residents aand for tourists as well.
