The tender for the new bridge passing Dubai Creek in Al Shindagha has been released.
The tender is design and construction of the project and it invites contractors to accomplish a new 2.7 kilometer-long bridges, together with the road infrastructure, including a line of crossing points.
The Al Shindagha Tunnel has been servicing Dubai’s seriously populated Bur Dubai and Deira neighborhood for 40 years. According to a report, the bridge will feature several lanes in each direction to relieve the traffic in the area.
According to RTA, the idea of renovating and replacing the Al Shindagha Tunnel is not included in the plan at present.
