first of its kind in the UAE Capital – a super-regional mall.
Opening during the final race of the 2014 Formula One World Championship, Yas Mall will have more than 300 stores and outlets including F&B brands, a 20 screen cinema operated by VOX Cinemas, a family entertainment zone, and the largest hypermarket in Abu Dhabi which will be operated by Geant.
International retail giants such as Landmark, Al Shaya, Retail Arabia, Paris Group,
Fucom, Majid Al Futtaim, Dubai Holding, Royal sporting House and Azadea will be taking over 80 percent of the mall space.
Aldar Properties, one of the largest developers in the Middle East, is the company responsible for building the 2.5-million square feet mall. A representative of the company stated last Sunday that the construction has been completed and the fitting out of the units for the tenants has been started.
Yas Mall aims to offer a unique and exciting experience as it is directly connected to Ferrari World making it one of the largest entertainment, leisure and retail destinations in the world.
