The 9th edition of the International Agricultural Fair in Morocco (SIAM) closes victoriously as it marked 850,000 head counts that attended and witnessed the event.
The Commissioner of the SIAM 2014 that was held in Meknes exhilaratingly said that the exhibition is “very successful” as it had a large influx of visitors. “This edition has been very successful on all fronts, he said.
The Commissioner also commended the quality of services provided during the whole week of SIAM 2014.
The division of local products was most frequented by visitors’ number to discover products that are part of the Moroccan identity and make the singularity of Morocco, he noted.
A higher official has also indicated that with the Royal High Orientations and tireless efforts each edition by the Ministry of Agriculture and Maritime Fisheries, ACIS has become over the years one of the largest exhibitions agriculture worldwide.
The Commissioner further praised different officials who have created platform for agreements and partnerships, and stated that the Moroccan government is “satisfied” with the climate of organization in this edition that gathers experts, lecturers, professionals, and interested people with common goal.
King of Morocco His Majesty King Mohammed VI previously reported that the government aims to strengthen the agricultural sector which is an essential link in the Moroccan economy, as well as his eagerness to develop rural areas.
