Good news for the textile manufacturers. The first sector of the ecosystem will be launched in late December. Specifically, the Department of Industry has signed with the Moroccan Association of Textile and Clothing (AMITH) partnership to structure the sector around seven ecosystems-sectors with high growth potential: denim (jeans); ready-to-wear fast fashion, brands and distribution; platforms outsourcer; mesh; home textiles and technical textiles. The first four ecosystems will be as a pilot project.

The goal is to create more than 100,000 additional jobs by 2020 and increase the revenue of the export activity of no less than 5 billion dirhams. The process will be triggered early November. In cement, three potential ecosystems have been identified with the Professional Association of cement (APC). Their kick-off is scheduled for early November.
