The Moroccan Agency for Solar Energy (MASEN) together with the Energy and Alternative Energies Commission (CEA) and a French group specializing in energy, defense & security, medical and aeronautics inked the agreement for R&D for solar energy marking the conclusion of the Integrated Partnership on Solar Technology.
The said agreement will basically boost the proficiency and know-how for the development of the industry. The joint effort indicates the assurance that the development of renewable energy is crucial to be included in the energy transition, by means of giving concrete essence to the primary socio-economic opportunity.
The agreements entail MASEN’s strategic acquisition of 50%, together with the group which is active in solar thermal technology as well as the construction of a research laboratory in Morocco by MASEN and CEA and commencement of several collaboration and competence transfer projects. The partnership aims to support solar technology, with an outlook of developing an industrial basis for R&D and innovation.
It was said that the undertaking is an absolute industrial experience of utilizing thermodynamic solar technology, mentioning seven upcoming fields of cooperation which will pave the way for developing technologies that advanced of competition.
