The construction of two 37-storey towers, residential complexes, yacht club and light house measuring 6 million square meters will not damage the beauty and the rich wildlife of the site.

Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary is a sheltered reserve where residents can go bird watching. The development will add a walkway with a selection of food stalls and leisure zones, which will provide visitors the access the marina, ferry terminal creek pier yacht club, and a lighthouse.

The Ras Al Khor sanctuary is confined under the Unesco Ramsar Convention since 2007 and sits closeto a huge development spot that intends to overhaul the area into a residential and commercial neighborhood. Since its establishment in 1985, it serves as a haven to about 450 species of animals and 47 species of plants. The sanctuary is certified as a globally Important Bird Area (IBA) by Birdlife International and deemed as an excellent swamp within the UAE.

According to the municipality, every sanctuary site in Dubai has safeguard zones to avoid any construction from taking place in the constrained areas, in order to sustain and protect the natural wildlife.
