Tenders for the construction of Dubai South’s Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) Phase 2 are assumed this October 2015.
The airport is being built on to develop into the world’s largest. Transactions for the development will be awarded on November 2015, according to the chief executive of Dubai Aviation Engineering Projects, Suzanne Al Anani.
Presently DWC airport, Dubai’s second, is competent of managing and dealing with around 7 million passengers. Meanwhile, they also confirmed there would be no changes to the size of the project. No scale back as they are urged by development and advancement.
Work on the development will start by 2016.
Approximately $32 billion is projected to be spent in this development project and it was announced last year.
