In partnership with the Arab-Emirates Morocco Development Company (SOMED), Laureate, and the first global network of private universities announced the opening of the new campus in Bouskoura, Casablanca.
With more than 75 universities in more than 30 countries, the developer confirms this new project through its commitment to strengthen its presence in Morocco. This project and required a total budget of one billion dirham, aims to provide students with the necessary resources including libraries and laboratories to receive a quality education.
The University, through its faculty and its renowned training according to national and international standards, will provide its students with the necessary means to a quality education offering them the means to succeed. Openness to international, academic excellence, employability, innovation, multidisciplinary, these are the values of the University.
Four years after its launching, the International University of Casablanca is successful either by its number of students approximately at 1,000 or the quality of its grouped training courses in four areas which are the Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Business and Management, School of Engineering and Hotel and sports management.
Moreover, the new campus, which will open on September 1, will be built in three phases in order to meet the growing demand of the area. It will receive 3,500 students. Then, the capacity of the campus will be increased with10, 000 training spaces. The University also announced last July that the launch of the new campus will double the number of scholarships awarded for the next academic year to provide those more deserving an access to quality higher education.
