The world’s first purpose-built aerotropolis announced on Sunday that a new storage
facility is being built in Dubai World Central (DWC) Logistics District.
Owned by RSA-TALKE, the new state-of-the-art storage facility will provide more than 19, 000 pallet spaces. This will generate logistical advantages to the Gulf Region.
RSA-TALKE is a joint venture between RSA Logistics, a transport and logistics services provider headquartered in Dubai, and TALKE, a German chemical logistician.
The said facility will create direct connections to the world’s largest airport, the new Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai as well as to regional and international road and sea routes
The project is expected to boost the reputation of DWC as a rewarding target for logistic companies aspiring to establish strong presence in UAE and other regional markets.
Dubai’s standing as vital link in the global trade of non-hazardous and hazardous materials
will be strengthening through this project.
“The production as well as the import and export of specialty chemicals is gaining in importance here in the Gulf region. The new RSA-TALKE storage facility strongly positions us to capitalize on the rapid market growth by taking advantage of the dedicated, state-of-the-art logistics infrastructure at Dubai World Central”, an official of RSA-TALKE said.
Dubai World Central consists of 8 fully integrated districts, helping drive business in different industries, including aviation, logistics, commercial, real estate and exhibitions.
