Information concerning the property and urban development projects planned to be constructed along the two shores of the Dubai Canal have been disclosed.
The projects involve the construction of commercial establishments at an area of 605,000 square meters and 4.68 million square meters allotted for the 5,345 residential units and 948 hotel rooms.
The projects feature a three-level mall which will sit on a 300,000 square meter plot at the Gate Towers Bridge near the canal entrance. The mall offers 434 spaces for retail stalls and restaurants. The main attraction of the mall is its rooftop which is designed to be a green park producing an optical association between its foliage and that of Al Safa Park. Alongside with the mall, the Gate Towers project features a number of hotel apartments and exclusive flats and a five-star hotel.
Additionally, four residential towers are designed to be linked to Al Safa Park with approximately 500 available spaces for retail shops and restaurants and 1,141 residential spaces. More or less 200 outlets and restaurants and 211 residential units will be constructed beside the canal.
The planned projects will likely offer spaces for upcoming luxurious property development projects around the Marina region offering more than 60 marinas, 957 five-star hotel rooms, 1,817 residential units, and 347 retail stores and diners.
