A joint venture between Dubai based property developer and Thailand based hospitality consortium is on the table to construct a 500-room beachfront hotel and resort on the ongoing Deira Islands development project.
The said agreement will make way for the realization of an excellent waterside resort which will be accessible for different upcoming developments such as Deira Islands Night Souk and the Deira Mall.
The Dubai based developer of the Deira Islands coastal city will put in 40 kilometers, together with 21 kilometers of beachfront to Dubai’s shoreline. The project paves the way for the development of hotels and serviced apartments, retail destinations, mixed-use buildings and residential waterside developments at what will become a new cultural, residential and commercial hub for the emirate.
In May, the developer has entered into an agreement with a Spanish hospitality company and further joint ventures are presently under discussion. According to the chairman of the property developer, this move is an addition to its objective of increasing their hospitality portfolio and underlines its dedication to build fresh tourism concepts in accordance with the tourism vision of Dubai for 2021.
The developer currently has 1,250 new hotel rooms in the pipeline at Deira Islands which are made possible by joint ventures.
