The MEBAA Morocco Show 2015 or the first Private and Business Aviation exhibition kicked off in Casablanca graced with the presence of fifty exhibitors and international operators.

Morocco’s First Private And Business Aviation Exhibition Held In Casablanca

The Middle East Business Aviation Association (MEBAA) was established in 2006. It is a not for profit organization organized to introduce the companies in the business and aviation in the MENA region. Its purpose is to reinforce interaction and collaboration among the different players in the sector and government sectors.

The said event was held in an open field spreading at 45,000 square meters. According to the president of the Union of Private aviation in the MENA region, the standing of the Kingdom in the field of civil aviation has encouraged it to host the show.

The aim of the event is to event is to draw foreign aviation companies to invest in Morocco by showing them the opportunities as a link between Europe and the Africa. It is a significant occasion and a real advantage to endorse the private aviation and business aviation, which has made an outstanding operation and improvement for the benefit of the national policy in the area of civil aviation and opening strategy in Africa.

Last year, there are over 30,000 passengers have decided for the aviation, even though the numbers of passengers decreased, it still very useful to the commercial aviation.

The MEBAA Conference held in Marrakech, the North African market has become an interest for MEBAA.  It goes to show that this trade event helps in the development of private aviation sector in Morocco and the marketing of the country as an main destination for business aviation at the African region.

Because of the good geographical location of the Kingdom and its economic vitality, the business aviation operation in Morocco has been an obvious growth in the Mohammed V airport, Rabat-Salé, Marrakech, Fez, Agadir, and Tangier.
