Last December 4, according to the study, Morocco is the prime non-European travel destination for Spanish tourists for the Consitution’s coming holidays from 4 January until 6. The study presented that Morocco combined the trend in past years as the primary non-European destination” of Spanish tourists during the holiday cycle.
In the late 1980’s and early 1990’s between 1 and 1.5 million visited by European in Morocco and most of the visitors are French and Spanish, with about 100,000 each from Britain, Germany, and the Netherlands.
More than 800 thousand Spanish visitors traveled to Morocco in the previous year, posting a raise of 4 percent compared to 2011. After France, Spain is the 2nd largest source of tourists to Morocco.
Marrakech, Tangier, Casablanca, Rabat and Fez, followed by Istanbul, and New York are among the top ten popular international destinations during the holiday of the Constitution. Notably, 5 cities mentioned were from the Kingdom of Morocco supporting the statements of the study.
