Recent news was released by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and said that Morocco is the safest country in North Africa.
The note can be seen on the Ministry’s website stating Morocco’s political and security situation allows the association of professional and individual trips to the North African country.
However the Foreign Affairs gave an advisory to French citizens to be observant when traveling along Morocco’s southern borders especially with Algeria.
French authorities advise French citizens whose planning to travel to the other North African countries like Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, and Mauritania to be on aware and avoid going to isolated places.
In the midst of political commotion in the Arab world and the increase of attacks in North Africa, Morocco still managed to keep terrorist threats at bay.
In early November, the British Foreign Office ranked Morocco as one the safest countries in the world. The terrorist threats in Morocco are lower than in some European countries, such as France and Spain.
