Morocco and Gabon has recently signed another agreement on manufacturing agricultural fertilizers in Libreville with the presence of King Mohammed VI and Ali Bongo Ondimba.
The agreement discusses that there will be a new ammonia plant to build in Gabon and a phosphate plant in Morocco since ammonia and phosphate are both elements used to produce agricultural fertilizers.
The agreement aspires to increase food guarantee all over Africa. The source said that the budget for the project has already been disclosed and the manufacturing of these agricultural fertilizers will start five years from now.
They are targeting West and Central Africa to be their market for these agricultural fertilizers at a very fair cost. In line with this, the parties will be signing other agreements which they have discussed in the recent economic forum.
