An Investment Conference organized by the Embassy of Morocco in UK in cooperation with the Moroccan-British Business Council will be held on October 22 focusing on the Morocco’s strengths and competitive advantages in financial services, energy and industry.
Themed with “Morocco, business portal in Africa”, the event will be an opportunity for political and business leaders from both countries to explore opportunities for cooperation and investment offered by Morocco as a platform for the African continent. It will also explore the possibility of setting up joint investment projects in Africa and build a partnership.
According to the Ambassador of Morocco to UK Africa had experienced outstanding economic growth during the last five years and this conference will strengthen Morocco’s spot as a first step to the up-and-coming African economies, and help British companies in their pursuit for growth markets.
Among the keynote speakers include the Mayor of the City of London, the British Treasury Secretary, and the Co-chairman of the Moroccan-British Business Leaders’ Forum. Moroccan high-level delegation, headed by the Minister of Economy and Finance, will be attending meeting together with the Minister of State for Small Business and the Integration of the informal sector, the CEO of the National Office of Hydrocarbons and Mines (ONHYM), the CEO of Casablanca Finance City ( CFCs), and the CEO of the National Agency for the Development of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ADEREE).
