Theme park’s owner Ilyas and Mustafa Galadari Group recently announced the opening date of IMG Worlds of Adventure theme park located at IMG’s City of Arabiamaster project, a 20 minute drive from Dubai International Airport.
The 24 hectare development project is at 96% ready and will welcome its first guests on August 15, 2016 as confirmed by Lennard Otto, CEO of IMG Worlds of Adventure.
According to reports, the park is one of the biggest indoor theme park destination of its kind, bringing a good entertainment break from the otherwise hot time period. The 1 billion dollar project which boasts of a giant steel will be consist of four zones with concepts taken after Lost Valley, Marvel, Cartoon Network and IMG Boulevard concept. The park will truly excite the kids as well as tourists who dreams of interacting with their childhood heroes like Iron Man, Captain America, Spiderman and Powerpuff Girls.
Amusement rides are also something tourists can look forward to which organizers described as “unique”.
Adults Favorites: “Avengers Battle of Ultron” is an action packed ride featuring an all-star cast from the Avengers. The rollercoaster named “Velociraptor” has speeds that hit of up to 100 km in 2.5 seconds, taking off from the immense wild jungles of the Lost Valley out into the Dubai desert. Only the brave can dare experience the “Predator”, which is a highly exceptional ride which offers thrill-seekers the sharpest drop track in the region, with a heart-stopping beyond-vertical plummet to Earth. Want to know what it feels like to be on a battle scene? Try the “Hulk Epsilon Base 3D”, it’s an advanced 100-seater ride system and first of its kind ride that uses a combination of 360 degree projection screens and motion to virtually thrust guests through an immersive battle scene experience. Want to be experience spinning though New York skyline? The 400-meter spinning coaster called “Spider-Man Doc Ock’s Revenge” will give guests that adrenalin rush.
Recreational Rides for Kids: Children will definitely have a good spin riding on top of the friendly inhabitants from the Lost Valley Dinosaur Adventure at the “Dino Carousel”. There will also be an adventure playground which include obstacles and physical challenges for kid’s day climbing adventures at what’s called “Adventure Fortress”. Young gents of Ben 10 fanatics will get their feel of a real-life battle scene with Ben and Rook in an epic 5D multi-sensory theatre called “Ben 10 5D Hero Time”. Young ladies will also have the chance to unleash their inner “Powerpuff Girls”
The park’s pride however, is the Lost Valley, where dinosaur fans can experience the most realistic dinosaur era ever constructed. Working closely with Japanese robotics company, it took the designers 5 years for the animatronic creatures to be created, making the dinosaurs move as real as possible.
Park schedule will be from 10am to 12mn during weekends and until 10pm on weekdays. Tickets prices range from Dh250 to Dh300
