This year’s biggest education conference and exhibition in the Middle East opens today at the New Zabeel Halls of the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The Gulf Educational Supplies and Solutions 2016 will run for three days under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai and organized by the F&E Group in association with the Ministry of Education.

It must be noted that is the region’s only event that features the latest in educational supplies and solutions. The event receives over 500 exhibitors from all over the world presenting the latest innovations which may be considered by education experts and policy makers to update their services and modernize their systems.

The UAE Ministry of Education participates in endorsing the event within the local and regional industry.

Moreover, GESS highlights over 100 specialists in the field of education who are willing to impart awareness on the hottest developments and important concerns in the education segment.  It features 200 workshops and general assembly aiming to provide the visitors and present educational experts new concepts on how to encourage students to be involved and perform better in their class. The increase in the number of interested exhibitors show great confidence about educational growth in the Middle East, where sustained investments in education attracting business opportunities throughout the region.

The program features several workshops on digital education, innovative classroom designs, boosting superior creativity and leveraging new technologies to achieve better performance. O the same event, the 2nd annual GESS Education Awards will be held in order to recognize and acknowledge the significant endeavors of the suppliers and teaching professionals in the Middle East.

A representative of The Knowledge Hub has explained the market for educational products is expected to grow by 65 per cent in Dubai due to the increasing demand for software and hardware educational products since last year.

It is expected that digital media for teaching will be used and grow more and more primary and secondary schools as they offer learning flexibility to students, and offers teachers with accessible materials to be used to teach different educational theories.

GESS 2015 hosted around 350 international exhibitors attended by over 9,000 regional and international education professionals. A forum called Global Education Forum (GEF) is part of the whole event where first-class educational programs aid teachers, educators, and instructors in developing their skills and learn useful and effective teaching approaches.
