Morocco was chosen to host the 4th edition of the Climate Change and Development Conference (CCDA-IV)which will be held in Marrakech and will run from October 8 to 10 2014 announced by the UN Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA).
The conference themed “Africa Can Feed Africa Now: Translating Climate Knowledge into Action” is in acknowledgement of 2014 as the year dedicated to agriculture.
The general purpose of the conference is to provide a stand for reflecting on how Africa can make use of climate knowledge to renovate agricultural production procedures in order to sustainably nourish itself and enhance the socio-economic condition of its people.
It is imperative that the solid participation of civil society is a significant piece of the event targeting farmers, the youth, women and pastoralists. These groups convey the challenges, truth, and opportunity confronted at the low level which will be used by the present policy makers and researchers to formulate interventions.
