The budget which amounts to 1.17 billion dirhams has been apportioned to strengthen the road network the province of Taounate in Morocco for the period of 2012-2017.
According to the Regional Office of the Ministry of Equipment, Transportation and Logistics,
the program has already accomplished infrastructure projects costing 1793.2 million dirhams which accounts to the construction of 123.24 kilometer road network at 94.8 million dirhams and building of six structures worth 84.46 million dirhams.
The currently underway projects around 171.43 million dirhams are allocated to the construction of 126.4 kilometers of roads in a number of municipalities in the province worth 129.930 million dirhams and eight books of art at 41.5 million dirhams.
For the projects scheduled for period 2016-2017, the budget of 255.6 million dirhams is allocated for the completion of 196.3 kilometers of roads at a cost of 217 million dirhams and the construction of three bridges which costs 38.5 million dirhams.
An amount of 563.6 million dirhams is also allocated for the accomplishment of several projects in accordance top the national program of rural roads and territorially upgrade.
The role of the funds in the national initiative for human development projects are dedicated to the construction of 324.8 kilometers of roads and six bridges for total budget of 117.40 million dirhams.
