Merlin Entertainments has unveiled exciting designs for Legoland Dubai.
The Legoland Dubai, situated in Jebel Ali, will cover a total of three million square feet and include over 15,000 Lego model constructions made from more than 60mn Lego bricks. This contains over 40 interactive rides, programs and attractions which are all set in six themed areas, some of which are already favorites, Lego City, Adventure, Lego Kingdom, Create, Lego Factory, and the magical Miniland.
There will also be an exceptional interactive world particularly intended for children aged 2-12.
Planned to kick off in 2016, Legoland Dubai will be the first Legoland Park in the Middle East. The CEO of Merlin Entertainments plc, Nick Varney stated that they are overjoyed and pleased to be opening in Dubai and to be working with an associate as modern and encouraging as Dubai Parks & Resorts on this thrilling new project.
Dubai is the most significant tourist hub in the Middle East and they believe that it is the perfect place for Legoland. Not only is the Lego conception already extremely popular here, however Legoland’s exceptional attractiveness for families with younger children is common, creating it a must do visit not merely for local visitors from Dubai and nearest Middle Eastern nations but also vacationers visiting the area from all over the world.
Additionally, Legoland Dubai, the first phase of Dubai Parks & Resorts will also include Motiongate Dubai and Bollywood Parks Dubai. Schedule for completion will be on 2016, Phase 1 will also include Riverpark, a grand entrance plaza and Lapita, a family themed hotel.
