Establishment of Autonomous Control and Coordination of Exports (EACCE) and the German Federal Office for Agriculture and Food (BLE) signed a cooperation agreement to attain international standard for compliance of Moroccan agricultural products and better facilitate their access to the European market.
Under the agreement signed by the chairman of the BLE and the Director General of EACCE during SIAM 2014 in Meknes, the two institutions talks about synergy skills, development initiatives and collaborative actions as well as exchanging of information and expertise.
Kingdom of Morocco is a consistent provider of export about 1.2 million tons of fruit and vegetables per year.
“The cooperation agreement aims to support access of Moroccan products, especially fruits and vegetables to the European market,” says the Minister of the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture, who presided over the signing ceremony with the Minister of Agriculture and Marine Fisheries.
The latter highlighted the cooperation relations linking Morocco and Germany in the field of agriculture, noting that the prospects are promising.
The merging aims to implement, improve and develop its mission which is to remain attentive to its customers in the country of destination of Moroccan exports of food products.
