All these distinctive highlights are part of Meydan One, a latest project divulged by the Meydan Group. The first phase of Meydan One is set for finishing point before 2020.

This project has been officially and formally commended by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Situated between Meydan and Al Khail Road, Meydan One incorporates residential, leisure and hospitality sections.

Dubai One, at a proposed height of 711 metres, is projected to exceed the World One towers in India as the tallest residential skyscraper. Comparable to the projected Mall of the World project, the Meydan One Mall will highlight a retractable roof which can be wide open during winter months. The Meydan One Mall will also include the world’s longest indoor ski slope at 1.2km, a 25,000sqm indoor multi-purpose sports facility, bicycle and jogging trails, a 9km boardwalk, the largest dancing fountain in the world reaching over 420m, a 300m-long beach, a civic plaza that can accommodate up to 60,000 people and a heritage village.

Meydan Arena will be situated at the base of the ski slope. With a seating capacity of 8,000, it will host sporting events, concerts and theatre shows. The civic plaza will be home to a floating stage, fountains and a waterfall.

The beach in Meydan One will be located nearby to the crystal lagoons in District One of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum City.

In a cooperation with Indian developer, Meydan had commenced District One, a set of premium villas, as phase one of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum City. The determined and impressive master project, extend across 47 million square feet, features the world’s largest mall, 100 hotels and a public park three times bigger than London’s Hyde Park.
