The expansion has been planned with the proficiency of primary industry companies such as Gensler, Rabben Herman, Forrec, HOK, RTKL and Riva Creative. Additionally, consultants including CH2M Hill and Samsung SDS have provided infrastructure design. The entire master plan has been accepted by the related government officials.
More than 1,500 personnel have been deployed to enhance an initial area of about 25 million square feet at Phase 1 of Dubai Parks & Resorts. The number of workers on site is estimated to enlarge four-fold by 2015. With almost 30% of the infrastructure expansion already finish, work on the power substation has recorded 35% development while excavation work for the district cooling facility has also started.
