The infrastructure component of the Dubai Parks and Resorts site off Sheikh Zayed Road, Jebel Ali is reportedly just about 35%.
Over 50% construction contracts have been secured and civil works have begun. Around 45% of the utility services are complete while the works for project’s power station has reached 40% and excavation work for the district cooling facility has also started.
According to the chief projects officer at Dubai Parks and Resorts, the team that is monitoring the progress of the project made momentous development in all construction areas.
It is expected that the site will feature motiongate and Bollywood theme parks, Legoland, a food and beverage park named Riverland, and Lapita which is a Polynesian—themed four star hotel.
The completion of the project is set by the end of third quarter of 2016.
