The ongoing expansion of the Dubai Festival City mall is making its way to the water edge through its 300-metre long promenade which will accommodate several of fine- and family-centered foods and beverages sections.
The Dh1.5 billion expansion will spread on the Creek. Construction work includes a totally re-designed main entrance hall, festival plaza, new retail stores, and a boardwalk.
The plan is to join the mall’s two enclosed spaces into one and then extend it to the Creek-side. A huge 50,000 square feet area is being reclaimed to be located in the promenade.
There will be 22 stores and the best seats in the house. Once the expansion is completed, visitors can stroll through the central atrium all the way to the waterfront.
Soon, the DFC mall will unveil an unrestrained glass facade that will offer incomparable sights of the Dubai skyline.
