The tender closing date for the build contract for the designed Entisar tower in Dubai has been extended by its local developer. The invitation for the firms to bid was originally planned on July 6, 2014.
The plans for the projects was released in 2012 which involves the building of 100-storey tower comprising of shops, swimming pools and garden areas, as well as serviced apartments. It is planned to rise on Sheikh Zayed Road beside Fairmont Hotel.
Dubai Developers’ initiative to plan high-rise projects again is probably due to the recurring confidence to the emirates property sector.
It is said that another 100-storey tower is expected to be constructed in 2015. It will be situated in the Jumeirah Lake Towers area.
Earlier this year, another local contracting and building firm began the construction works for a residential tower found in Dubai Marina having 106 floors and an outlay of $190 million. The main contract was awarded in December 2013 and the project is deemed to be the first construction contract for a tower with more than 100 storeys to be awarded in Dubai for over six years.
