Several socio-economic development projects were launched in Khouribga province, on the event of the Youth Day and the 61st Anniversary of the Revolution of the King and the people.
The governor of Khouribga province headed the inauguration of the 4th Schedule headquarters of the administrative city, requiring a total investment of 1.3 million dirham, funded by the general budget of the state. Built on an area of 700 square meters, this new infrastructure is part of the development program of the territorial administration to improve the territorial coverage of the administration, to facilitate its services and to reach the citizens in the rural commune of Ouled Boughadi.
Conversely, several elected officials and local stakeholders, launched the construction of a maternity ward. The said facility is expected to be completed in five months for the amount of 400,000 dirham over an area of 120 square meters. The ward includes health and administrative offices, two restrooms and a lobby.
At the same time, a construction project was proposed for another maternity facility in the rural town of Beni Bettaou for an investment of about 359,000 dirham. This project is funded by the National Initiative for Human Development (NIHD) with the objective of facilitating the admittance of pregnant women in rural areas, to provide and improve health services to reduce neonatal mortality.
These health and welfare projects are part of a partnership between the National Human Rights Institutions (NHRIs), the provincial delegation of the Ministry of Health and the Municipalities of Ouled Boughadi and Blessed Bettaou. They will be managed respectively by Dar Al Oumouma Association in Ouled Boughadi and Dar Al Oumouma Association in Blessed Bettaou.
