The second phase of the real estate project Ikamat Al Amal was inaugurated by HM King Mohammed VI.
Located in the urban commune of Dar Bouazza, this project required a total investment of 370 million dirham. The second installment of Ikamat Al Amal project involves no less than 1,000 units of social housing.
According to the Minister of Housing and Urban Policy, the project is expected to contribute significantly in strengthening the middle class and is dedicated to households with limited income and housing supply. As part of the national social housing program, this project is expected to enable households of limited means to have access to adequate housing on favorable terms
Overall, the real estate project Ikamat Al Amal involves the construction of 1,547 housing flats, 400 shops, a primary school, a gym, a nursery and a small supermarket. Everything is spread over an area of 6.7 ha, the area covered is 112,478 square meters.
The transaction of the subsidiary of the developing company will participate in the absorption of housing shortage in the Nouaceur province and the emergence of new urban centers, aiming to accompany demographic and economic dynamics experienced by the Greater Casablanca as a whole. Three types of buildings are proposed for the housing supply. The surface of the housing is 52 square meters on average. Several measures have been considered to accomplish the national social housing program. It includes the creation of a single window at the Casablanca Urban Agency, and the examination and monitoring of social housing projects. Currently, more than 143 real estate projects have been reviewed and approved.
