Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) revealed the Sheikh Rashid – Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Road Interchange project in Dubai.
RTA stated that it has awarded a 611 million dirhams contract for the project. However, details concerning the project team is yet to arise. Finishing point is scheduled by the end of 2017.
The project includes the construction of a bridge on the Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Road, and a tunnel on the Sheikh Rashid road, along with a bridge extending from Umm Hurair lane in the way of Sheikh Rashid road.
Updates revealed that interchange project is part of its strategies to advance the Al Shindagha Road network.
The project also involves the construction of a tunnel on the Sheikh Rashid road in the direction of its crossing and the construction of a signalised intersection beneath the bridge.
Similar figure tracks will be preserved in the diversion to prevent any undesirable impressions on the usual traffic flow, added sneers or interruptions because of the construction works.
The contractor’s location will be parted by a high block to lessen the sound intensities faced by road users to the least.
The pronouncement of the RTA comes as construction works for improving Wafi Interchange, which will be commenced by the end of April, close to finishing point.
