The Sharjah Waterfront City development will expand across 36km of shoreline. The project will turn out to be the largest residential, commercial and tourism development in the city with total area of approximately 60 million sqft and will comprise of 10 islands intersected by natural canals. The original value of the first phase of the development will be Dh9.35 billion, according to its developer.

The mentioned project will be commenced in Cityscape Global 2015 next month in Dubai. Structure of the first phase, which extends across three million sqft, will start in the fourth quarter of 2015 and is projected to be finished in the third quarter of 2018.

The first phase will involve 200 towers for commercial and residential points, many multi-level hotels and service apartments, marine clubs, 95 apartment buildings, above 1,100 waterfront and park-side villas, a world-class water theme park, one large shopping mall with a hypermarket, two main entertainment centres, schools, stores, numerous mosques, banks, coffee shops and restaurants.

They considered that the project can considerably add importance to the emirate’s overriding objective of setting up itself as the cultural capital of the UAE. The waterfront city will turn out to be the heartbeat of tourism 2021 vision in the city.

Thus, attaining the objective of 10 million visitors will be a difficult commission for an emirate that, up until this position, is still believed to be under-developed compared to other emirates such as Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

But that all may possibly about to modify as Sharjah Waterfront City made by nature divulges its blueprints to the world and starts construction on the largest expansion the emirate has ever witnessed.

Sharjah Oasis Real Estate Development will be increasing its operation to the entire GCC within the coming years. All required approvals have been obtained and infrastructure construction is going on in full swing on the project, claimed the company.

Visitors can suppose to see above 60% of the area enclosed in landscape including parks and beaches to preserve a family-friendly ambiance that is aesthetically satisfying plus spacious, not like other primary developments assumed in the UAE.

Moreover, Sharjah Waterfront City is a freehold project and features exceptional links to the city’s airport, Hamriyah Free Zone and other main attractions, making it an appealing prospect for investors seeking to acquire or enhance property on the islands.
