The 6th Festival Timizart money, under the sign silverware: identity, creativity and development, was commenced last 13 August 2015 in Tiznit, Morocco.
The opening concert, which took place in the presence of the Minister of Handicraft and Social economy, Marouane Fatima, and the governor of the province of Tiznit, Samir El Yazidi, was animated by several folk groups.
This edition was marked by the exhibition of the largest silver fibula (Khlala, Tazarzit), manufactured for over seven months by eight craftsmen who applied it most craft techniques silverware.
As part of the opening of the festival abroad, this edition is being attended by Italy as guest of honor, which promotes technology transfer in silver silverware.
Organized living as part of the event includes the participation of several exhibitors from several cities in Morocco, including Guelmim, Assa, Chichester, Fez and Meknes, and those of Tiznit who will present a range of jewelry and objects money reflecting the dexterity of Moroccan artisans bankers.
On this edition also consist of fashion shows clothes and customary jewelry, academic symposiums on anthropological and civilization features Amazigh money and the role of museums in the collective sustainable development and for the first time a Tourist Tour bicycles through the city and its rural areas. They have now established to capitalize on the fame of Tiznit as unquestionable capital of goldsmith money.
The festival is an idea of the Association Timizart money, with cooperation of the Chamber of Crafts, the municipality and the provincial Tiznit Council, the Maison de l’Artisan and the assistance of other public partners and private.
