Dar Al Ber Society will construct 30 mosques across the UAE. The cost will be around AED1.25 million per mosque.
Reports said that the first part of the project spans the structure of 10 mosques in Muwaihat, Zahraand Humaidiya-1 in the emirate of Ajman.
Ten more mosques are to be constructed in Ras Al Khaimah in places to be concluded in coordination with the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai, while 10 others will be divulged at a later date.
It has been reported that the designed mosques are to have local and Islamic architecture and large prayer sections that can cater up to 350 worshippers, plus special attention to the requests of the old, aged and special needs worshipers.
The Dar Al Ber Society, managed by the Dubai government, is devoted to benevolent endeavors and programmes, and also works together with other charitable oraganizations and civil society groups in all charity projects across the UAE, primarily constructing, preserving and boosting mosques.
The society has already built and closed contracts to construct 15 mosques and Quran study centres in the UAE.
