The action plan for upgrading the city of Settat for the period 2014-2018 will require a budget of more than MAD 2.3 billion, has-been learned from the regional council Chaouia-Ouardigha.

More than 2 billion budget to improve the city of Settat

This plan is part of a partnership agreement between the Ministries of Interior, Housing, habous and Islamic Affairs, national education, health, crafts, Culture and Youth and Sports, the Onee of the RADEEC, the provincial council, city council, National Mutual, the holding company Al Omran, the NHRI and the Regional Council of Chaouia-Ouardigha.

Project implementation to upgrade the city of Settat shall include the development and developing of roads and voieries (over 244 million DH), strengthening basic infrastructure (networks of sanitation, drinking water and the ONCF) for an amount of more than 965 million DH, development and creation of new public spaces (over 66 million DH), the strengthening of public lighting (56 DH million), strengthening the signaling system and its generalization (10 million dirhams), development and the creation of green spaces and public gardens (over 130 million DH).
