The treaty which comes at a time of growing interest in renewable across the country lays down a structure to mutually invest in clean energy projects and green technology investment funds. It will also generate prospects for partnership on research and improvement of advanced clean energy technologies as well as solar wind and water.

The Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy and UAE’s Masdar inked conformity to enhance collaboration in the area of renewable energy and clean technology across the country.

Meanwhile, Masdar has played an increasingly important role in lengthening Abu Dhabi’s energy leadership further than hydrocarbons by implementing an integrated comprehensive renewable energy. On the other hand, the King Abdullah city for renewable energy and atomic had the goal of expanding Saudi Arabia’s energy sources to include renewable and nuclear.

The crown prince of Abu Dhabi and deputy supreme commander of the UAE armed forces, General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, went to the signing of the tactical structure conformity in Abu Dhabi.
