Ochre, also known as the Red City in Marrakech, Morocco was included at Top 40 of theOchre City in Marrakech, Destination for the Super Rich Most Popular Destinations in the World listed by international global financial services Deutsch Asset Wealth & Management.

The red walls of the city, built by Ali ibn Yusuf in 1122-1123, and various buildings constructed in red sandstone during this period makes the place as one of the popular and favorite tourist spot of rich personalities worldwide.

The United Chérifien has always been popular with stars, from powerful businessmen sports through politicians or other “people”. But the favorite destination of all these people is still in Marrakech.

Remembering the history, Yves St Laurent decided to settle there in 1980.
Winston Churchill, the Clinton family, the couple Sarkozy, models Naomi Campbell and Adriana Karembeu, comedians Gad Elmaleh and Jamel Debbouze, footballers Benzema, Zidane have their favorites in the city.

The city also hosted Carrie Bradshaw and her three girlfriends, having caught the eye of American director Michael Patrick King, who, in 2009, chose to shoot scenes for his film “Sex and the City 2”.

A few hours flight from European capitals, the magical city offers a total escape. Its festivals, its iconic luxury hotels and riads, parties regularly organized in the city of Marrakech are the most exclusive location in Morocco. Today, the city is between Western modernity and Eastern tradition. More and more Europeans prefer to settle in Marrakech.

But, according to some French tabloids, Marrakech is not the only city in Morocco that attracts super wealthy.

Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco have also chosen Agadir enjoyed the privileged climate offered by the capital of the Souss region. The Prince was seen again in one of the finest hotels in the city, enjoying his stay in Morocco with some friends, including former footballer David Ginola.
