Nakheel, the master developer of the Palm Jumeirah has announced that it has sold off two more plots for hotels on its famous island development. One plot to the west of the high-profile Atlantis Hotel and Resort was sold to a Gulf-based investor for Dh556 million and the other was brought by an Emirati for Dhs 139 milllion on the eastern side of the crescent. These two plots are situated on the crescent that runs the project’s perimeter amounted to Dhs700 milllion. The firm has already boasts an elite line-up of leading hotels on Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah and the choice on where to stay on this famous island is about to get more difficult after Nakheel’s announcement. Nakheel has not given further details regarding the two investors, or any information about the kind of hotels to be built on the sold plots. In a statement, Nakheel said that the Palm’s crescent is filling up fast with luxury resorts, hotels and residences and expects demand for a spot on its most famous project to increase as more facilities to come. Its significant role as a master developer of the Palm, it will continue to add facilities and develop more residences and a new mall and hotel projects. The two newly-sold plots will bring more attractions to one of the world’s famous island, which have been playing a pivotal role in the UAE’s tourism. Nakheel’s developments on world-class hotels and residences are not just an ingenious solution to limited beachfront but are unique landmarks of tourism which symbolizes engineering and iconic achievement. Projects developed by Nakheel became world’s best known and loved landmarks and which also reflects of Dubai’s progress and ambition.
