‘Museum of the Future’ unveiled in Dubai

Dubai ruler and HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum stated that they have commenced Museum of the Future, introducing modernization labs and a permanent exhibit for future inventions.

To occur in 2017, the Dh500 million innovative design of the museum embodies its principle with the slogan, “See the future, create the future”. It will be an incubator of modernization labs concentrating on health, energy, smart cities, transport and education, as well as a stable sector on future modernizations in all areas.

The museum will be managed by a foundation headed by Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai. The Board of Trustees will involve national figures with Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, Ministry of Cabinet Affairs as its Vice President. A donation will ensure its persistence for generations to come. It will bring together the brightest researchers, inventors, financiers and designers under one roof.

Al Gergawi averred that they want to establish aspiration in the region. The Arab world, which was a modernized and scientific hope in the past, has a lot of talent and the museum will help allow to run free those talents.

It is arranged to be the first of its kind and will signify a “leading example of entrepreneurial governments cuddling variation and creating innovative visions for a better world”. The future goes to those who can visualize it, plan it, and implement it. Here in UAE they think in a different way. Whereas others strive to foresee the future, they create it,” according to Sheikh Mohammed.
